This project seeks to develop a comprehensive understanding of intimate partner violence (IPV) in partnered sexual minority men. Specifically, we are interested in examining social, interpersonal, and intrapersonal factors associated with IPV. This study will also explore the barriers to and facilitators of IPV disclosure and help-seeking in partnered sexual minority men. Sexual minority men experience comparable rates of intimate partner violence when compared to heterosexual cis women and almost twice as more than heterosexual cis men.
