Michael Suarez
Project Manager
Email: [email protected]
B.A., Psychology, CUNY Hunter College
Michael acquired his B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Italian in May 2013 from Hunter College. After some downtime, a few odd-jobs, and some serious reflection, he made the decision to return to Hunter College in the fall of 2015 to study his original interest: Pre-Med. While pursuing Pre-Med in an academic setting he decided to complement his education and get involved with PRIDE as a recruiter so that he could utilize his knowledge of psychology and his naturally gregarious nature to help with the organization's recruitment efforts.
Michael has since risen through the ranks at PRIDE and is currently a Project Manager for the PARTNER research study. He feels his experience at PRIDE will give him a deeper insight into the struggles faced by underrepresented populations, the skill set needed to better serve the LGBTQIA+ Community, and innovative ideas on how dissolve the barriers they face finding competent, compassionate, and seamless medical care.
Outside of PRIDE, he is studying for the MCAT, teaching himself how to code, traveling the world, and playing with his cats.
