Email: [email protected] B.A., Psychology, CUNY Hunter College Lila joined the Relationship Health Research Team (RHRT) as a research assistant in May 2022. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CUNY Hunter College with minors in sociology and music. She completed an undergraduate honors thesis on college adaptation during the COVID-19 pandemic to analyze the effect of the pandemic on marginalized student populations, particularly first generation college students. Lila has also interned as an intake counselor at The Door, a non-profit organization that work with at-risk youth populations in New York City. In the future, she is interested in conducting research involving the effect of culture clash in populations of first- and second-generation women coming from Brown communities. She is also interested in promoting the de-stigmatization of mental health and increasing access to mental health care for marginalized populations. In her free time, Lila enjoys writing music and poetry. |
