Kory joined our research team in July 2018 as a research assistant. He recently graduated from Florida State University with his Bachelors in Psychology. Kory has worked in several research settings that examined topics ranging from adolescent anxiety and depression to LGBTQ health disparities, substance use, and mental health burden. During his undergraduate career Kory also completed an Honors Thesis on the topic of Health Service Utilization among Emergent LGBTQ Adults at a Major Southern University, which worked to examine the health disparities experienced by sexual minority adults in a southern collegiate setting and provide recommendations to make campus health care services more welcoming and inclusive for LGBTQ+ students.
