Joseph joined the Relationship Health Research Team (RHRT) as a Research Assistant in June 2021. He earned a master’s degree in general psychology from The City College of New York and a bachelor’s degree in music from St. John’s University. Broadly, his research interests focus on the structural, social, and psychological factors that influence the physical and mental health of sexual and gender minorities (SGM). He is particularly interested in understanding the health of SGMs within the context of interpersonal relationships. Joseph plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and continue pursuing research that addresses the health disparities of marginalized communities.
Outside of the lab, Joseph enjoys weekend visits to the Met and more coffee.
