Daniel joined our team as an intern in January 2019.
Daniel works with Dr. Tyrel Starks as a part of the Relationship Health Research Team as a research assistant on Project PARTNER. He has a particular interest in examining the psychosocial mechanisms that enable health inequities for sexual and gender minority populations as well as how the disclosure and negotiation of stigmatized identities may inform health outcomes for romantic dyads living with or affected by HIV.
Daniel was awarded the Dean’s Grant for Student Research at Teachers College for his upcoming thesis study on disclosure within serodiscordant and seroconcordant HIV-positive dyads of sexual minority men. He hopes to pursue doctoral studies in psychology in the near future.
