The Audre Lorde Project (ALP) is a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans and Gender Non Conforming People of Color Center for community organizing, focusing on the New York City area. Through mobilization, education, and capacity building, they work for community wellness and progressive social and economic justice. Committed to struggling across differences, they seek to responsibly reflect, represent, and serve their various communities.

Bridging Access to Care (formerly known as Brooklyn AIDS Task Force) was the first HIV/AIDS organization in Brooklyn. Their mission is to provide health care and supportive services to help individuals living with HIV, living with mental health conditi0ns, substance users, seeking healthier lifestyles, and healthier families.

The Center for Anti-Violence Education (CAE) develops and implements comprehensive violence prevention programs for individuals and organizations. Through a combination of education, physical empowerment, and leadership development, CAE provides underserved communities throughout the New York metropolitan area with skills to break cycles of violence.

Day One partners with New York City youth to end dating abuse and domestic violence through community education, supportive services, legal advocacy, and leadership development. Serving all five boroughs, Day One sues an empowerment model that invests and involves young people in maintaining safe relationships for themselves and their peers.

The Door provides a wide range of services to NYC youth, including reproductive health care and education, mental health counseling and crisis assistance, legal assistance, GED and ESOL classes, tutoring and homework help, college preparation services, career development, job training and placement, supportive housing, sports and recreational activities, arts, and nutritious meals - all for free and completely confidentially. In addition to health, legal, education, counseling and career services, The Door provides a wide range of programs and services geared towards LGBTQ members.

FIERCE is an LGBTQ youth of color-led organization, building the leadership, political consciousness, and organizing skills of LGBTQ youth. They organize local grassroots campaigns in New York city to fight police harassment and violence and increase access to safe public space for LGBTQ youth.
Recognizing that there are still variances within the subculture of the gay community of color, Gay Men of African Descent (GMAD) continues to provide targeted services in the form of drop-in groups, age and need appropriate activities and counseling. The organization offers a drop-in center for seniors, YMSM, health and wellness counseling, prevention education, street outreach and HIV testing. GMAD is also actively planning more aggressive prevention initiatives with the use of a mobile testing unit. Additionally, GMAD is actively planning more inclusive programming that will embrace both transgender individuals and lesbians. True to its mission, GMAD remains the voice of the LGBT community, championing its rights and challenging wrongs.

Greenwich House helps individuals and families lead more fulfilling lives by offering social and health services, cultural and educational programs, and opportunities for civic involvement to New Yorkers of all ages and backgrounds.
Health Education Alternatives for Teens (HEAT) provides confidential, comprehensive health care focused on the special needs of teenagers at risk for or living with HIV. They are committed to providing age-appropriate and culturally competent care for all youths - straight, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, from all ethnic backgrounds. They offer a "one-stop-shop" of comprehensive services for high-risk and HIV-infected youth including medical, case management, HIV counseling and testing, mental health care, treatment adherence, outreach, support services, and access to research.

The Hispanic AIDS Forum's (HAF) mission is to improve health outcomes for Latinos in New York City who are affected by HIV and other chronic illnesses. They offer free HIV testing; emotional support counseling and support groups or gay and bisexual Latino men; services for HIV-positive Latinos, such as help managing medical care and treatment, financial assistance with rent payments, plus health education and wellness services; Latino youth leadership training; and services for transgender women.

SALGA-NYC is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization that serves to promote awareness, acceptance, empowerment, and safe inclusive spaces for people of all sexual and gender identities, who trace their heritage to South Asia or who identify as South Asian. They encourage leadership development, provide multi-generational support, work towards immigration advocacy, address mental health and health issues such as HIV/AIDS, and foster political involvement in the interest of creating a more empowered society.
The Urban Justice Center is a New York City-based social justice advocacy organization that works for and empowers the most vulnerable among us through a combination of direct legal services, systemic advocacy, community education and political organizing. They provide services to clients on many levels, from one-on-one legal advice in soup kitchens, to helping individuals access housing and government assistance, to filing class action lawsuits to bring about systemic change.
